Idris also directed the Commissioner for Health, Dr Fred Achem, to recruit more doctors for each of the General Hospitals in the 21 local government areas of the state.He said government had already placed orders for state-of-the-art medical equipment from the U.S. for the specialist hospital. The new NMA Chairman, Dr Major Musa, had earlier commended the governor for the full implementation of the ``HATISS'' salary structure for doctors in the state.He informed the governor of the association's plans to honour him as patron of its state chapter.
