Rivers govt plans to ban equipment with CFC gases
on the ban or restriction of such equipment.Chinda said government would put in place a CFC control to check indiscriminate dumping of the gases, through the importation of fairly used refrigerators, laptops and airconditioners. He said the ministry would soon introduce an equipment that would trap the CFC gases, to be made available to dealers and mechanics.The commissioner said the ministry would soon conduct training programmes for refrigerator mechanics and electronic sales outlets on the use of the equipment.
